don't forget
(in the midst of your harried and mulit-faceted life)
don't forget to do nothing
pour a cup of tea
(or don't)
and sit with it...
look out the window
(or don't)
and try to make your mind a blank slate
stop thinking,
planning,
worrying,
rehearsing,
and rehashing
just for a few minutes....
bask in the beauty
of this moment
you are ALIVE,
dynamic,
utterly and completely unique!
be with it
repeat as needed...
your body, mind and spirit
(and quite possible your family)
will thank you.
Beautiful post and pics!

stunning pics and a beautiful much needed post. ♥
ReplyDeleteGorgeous images and words Patty! Thank you for writing them today.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I wonder if there is an invisible link between us. Today, I was doing just that - and wrote about it on my blog for tomorrow. So important is it not. I could simply dive into your pink rose, loose myself in all that lusious pink and allow her to comfort me for a very long time. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteLovely meditation. And - I love the images!!

beautiful as always. ♥
ReplyDeleteAaah..Patty, thank you for your visit earlier. Your sweet compliments regarding my newest creations made my day! :))
ReplyDeleteThis post was wonderful! You always inspire me to enjoy the moment..and your photographs inspire me to want to paint. I've put my oils on hold for now..concentrating instead on my glasswork. When I saw the beautiful cloud composition, my first thought was how gorgeous this would look on canvas.
I've always thought about creating this huge cloud formation on maybe a 48X60 or larger, and hanging it in the family room. Maybe I'll get to it one day.
All has been well here of late. I almost get scared saying it outloud. Mama has had so many good days straight in a row, it's almost like magic. Got so much work done this week just because she was doing so wonderful. Now next week you could be hearing from me and I'll be pulling my hair out..Ha ha ha ha, but for this week, it's been sublime.
Take care sweet lady!
Hugs of Friendship & Georgia Sunshine,
Terri
I will go do that shortly!
ReplyDeleteAlso, that rose photo! You made me fall in love with a rose, and for that, I thank you.
