One Last Time

it’s pretty rare to get rain in may around here and really rare to get it in june.  so we were treated to a totally unexpected rare event during the night.  ok, no thunder and lightning like some of you are experiencing, but kind of thrilling nonetheless, especially since we know that this will likely be the last such event for a looooong time.

of course i grabbed my camera.  the sun was back this morning and catching those little dancing water drops lit up by sunlight is one of my very favorite things to do.  it’s kind of meditative for me.  i don’t notice time passing or whether i might be hot or cold.  puts me in the zone…..

and who knows, with the way the weather has been acting lately….. maybe it’s not the last time!

have a glorious week!!

oh, all the details from the inner gardening mini-retreat are posted over here.

  9. it's so neat to compare weather around the world. June for us here in Calgary is rarely seen without rain...I guess we're the opposite of you! So I can't wait to take some rainless shots. :) but yours are beautiful, of course. :)
